In order to be able to continue to serve our customers, we continuously arrange seminars and lectures on the materials used in our furniture production. Recently, our sales staff learnt more about wood and fabrics.
Learning more about materials
When it comes to wood, the seminar discussed what different materials are available, how they are produced, pros and cons for these different materials, how sustainable they are and so forth. By gradually building on our sales staffs’ knowledge base they are always able to assist our customers in making adequate choices in terms of material.
The other seminar focused on fabrics, where similar aspects were discussed. Additionally, the seminar also discussed how different fabrics are affected by different environments and climates. Another important aspect is fire safety. Fabrics can be treated in different ways to make it more resistant and different countries have different standards when it comes to this. It is important that our sales staff know these different standards and is able to offer our customers help in choosing all the right materials for their geographical location.
