#Front is one of the most successful contemporary #design groups. Front consists of Sofia Lagerkvist, Charlotte von der Lancken, Anna Lindgren.

Front work on all of their projects as a collective, so that discussions and experimentation makes it possible to develop contemporary world-class design.

Front has been published widely in international design press and their work has been exhibited at MoMA in New York, the Pompidou Centre in Paris and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.

In 2010 Front received the highly prestigious Torsten and Wanja Söderberg Prize for their innovative and creative design.

The cooperation between OFFECCT and Front has evolved over time, and the launch of the Green Pedestals is a first result of this collaboration.

Green Pedestals enhances the plants with its elegant legs. Green Pedestals can be used as a room element, that for example functions as a room divider or creates a sort of an O2asis. Some variants have dimensions that fits perfectly at the side of a desk, other fits in height next to a seat or a window. It is possible to add a seat or a table top to the round models, and by placing them in a row or in a group they form a sort of a bench that is surrounded by greenery.

    Impressions from Salone del Mobile 2011, Milan

    Back home after a wonderful week in Milan and our participation at the Salone del Mobile 2011, we look forward to follow-up all new contacts and impressions.

    We met a lot of interesting people, and both our stand and our new products where very well recieved.

    The Salone del Mobile 2011 was indeed a truly global event, where we had interesting talks with customers, dealers and visitors from all around the world, including Russia, Ukraine, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, South Korea, the United States and from most countries in Europe.

    We felt that our collection is very competitive from an international point of view, and not least our O2asis collection drew a lot of visitors to our stand.

    Also, our new acoustic panel SOUNDWAVE Bella – designed by Ida Linea Danielsson from Danish architectural firm 3XN – generetad wide interest.

    We think that this year’s edition of Salone del Mobile was very succesful and would like to thank every one of you that made this a great event!

    At Last – OFFECCT In Collaboration With FRONT

    “We have wanted to collaborate for a while and have always been impressed by OFFECCT’s commitment to material experimentation and great finishing,” says FRONT.

    And since the ambition to work together has been mutual, we are very happy to launch our first product designed by FRONT: GREEN PEDESTALS.

    Green Pedestals is part of OFFECCT’s O2asis project which is an assortment of design products, that combined with vegetation enhances and adds value to the work environment, specifically through a conscious use of greenery and an improved air quality.

    “We were inspired by traditional pedestals. We think that the pedestal is a fantastic piece of furniture that needs a revival. With slim legs that are slightly irregular Green Pedestals receives a kind of a personality”, FRONT continues

    Green Pedestals can be used as a room element, functioning as a room for divider example, which can be seen in Front’s sketch below:

    Report From OFFECCT’s Press Preview at 2011 Stockholm Furniture Fair

    Earlier today we had the pleasure to welcome representatives from the media to our stand at the Stockholm Furniture Fair. We are delighted that so many journalists turned up.

    First CEO Kurt Tingdal introduced our new O2asis concept, then Design Manager Anders Englund introduced the following designers who presents new products at the 2011 Sthlm Furniture Fair:
