We are now back from the Clerkenwell Design Week in London. We are very happy with the days spent in London meeting and talking to many of our friends and partners!

Our stand at the Clerkenwell Design Week
While in London we presented our product line along with our latest additions such as the table Circus and the series of seating furniture Studio, and took the opportunity to talk to all the visitors and listen to their needs and ideas.

Smallroom by Ineke Hans at the Offecct stand at Clerkenwell
Smallroom, that you can see above, is a sofa that goes along the lines of the successful O2ASIS initiative. Smallroomcan be used together in different modules or standing alone. The design of Smallroomis characterized by a “box” on the side which can be used for placing plants or as a working surface with optional power devices. The back of the sofa can be compared to a high wall functioning as a sort of protection when one is seated, and creates the impression of a smaller room. However, the height of the back is not compromising with the volume of the surrounding room.

Tjhe sofa Linea by Luca Nichetto at the Offecct stand at Clerkenwell
The sofa Linea, in the picture, is designed by Luca Nichetto. The original idea to the sofa Linea Luca Nichetto got from The Line, an Italian animated TV-show he used to watch as a child. With this inspiration Nichetto wanted to create a sofa with a back, when combined in greater numbers, forms a line that creates continuity. The possibility to combine modules to a greater entirety gives architects and interior designers the opportunity to play with the product and its lines. The sofa is available in two sizes; two or three seater. Small tables link the sofas together and provide functionality. This makes Linea adaptable and possible to use in large as well as small rooms.

Some of our designers also came by to talk to us and all the other visitors, which made us very happy.

Very good blog! Do you have any recommendations for
aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress
or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally confused .. Any ideas? Many thanks!

Please let me know if you’re looking for a article writer for your site. You have some really good posts and I think I would be a good asset. If you ever want to take some of the load off, I’d absolutely love to write some content for your blog in exchange for a link back to
mine. Please send me an e-mail if interested. Thanks!
