Prolonging Summer

In the midst of summer it can be great to think about how you can prolong summer, and bring a little bit of it with you inside when fall arrives. With our product line O2asis you can do just that.

O2asis is an assortment of design products, which together with flowers and plants enhances and adds value to the work environment, not least through an improved indoor air quality. They make it easier to integrate greenery into any public space.

Green Divider by Louise Hederström is our latest addition to the O2asis product line. The design of Green Divider is flexible and can be placed in different formations or stand alone. The attractive graphic form of Green Divider means it works perfectly well with smaller plants, or even without any greenery.

Green Islands by Jean-Marie Massaud

Green Islands by Jean-Marie Massaud can be described as an ottoman with room for vegetation, and by integrating a higher plant inside Green Islands, a relaxing feeling of sitting as under a tree is created. When placed in a public interior it invites you to a moment of contemplation or a quiet conversation.

Grip Vase by Satyendra Pakhalé

Grip Vase by Satyendra Pakhalé is designed as a complement to the table Grip. The vase fits perfectly into the tables handle, but can also be placed on the table for variation.

Offecct in Sweden: Gothenburg

Offecct is present throughout Sweden, and two of our projects are situated in Gothenburg. At Sankt Jörgen Park Resort you can see Float High Large in a special custom made design for the Resort.

The sofa, designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune, is wider than the original, and has been given special buttons in the back.

Also located in Gotnerburg is Scandinavia’s largest science center, Universeum, furnished with Green Islands.

GREEN DIVIDER is the result of our first collaboration with Swedish designer Louise Hederström. We asked Hederström to find a way to incorporate greenery into office environments, open spaces and to provide the possibility to create spatiality.

Louise Hederström’s design of GREEN DIVIDER is flexible and can be placed in different formations or stand alone. The attractive graphic form of GREEN DIVIDER means that it works perfectly well with smaller plants or even without any plants at all.

- I like working graphically and to create expressions in a room, says Louise Hederström.

- I am very satisfied with the design of the product which allows bigger plants to climb, but also works well without any greenery at all. The divider itself creates a connection to plants with their form, she adds.

GREEN DIVIDER is a new product within our O2ASIS concept. O2ASIS is a product line of design products that together with flowers and greenery contribute, and bring value, to any interior.

About Louise Hederström

Louise Hederström has a degree from Beckmans College of Design in Stockholm, where she was tutored by renowned Swedish designer Björn Dahlström. She has also studied at the University of Lund. Louise Hederström has received the prestigious Estrid Ericsson scholarship, and has also received the Blueprint Design Award at the London Design Festival.

SMALLROOM is characterized by a “box” on the side which can be used for placing plants, as a working surface or for storage. This provides for many possibilities of variation.

The back of the sofa can be compared to a high wall functioning as a sort of protection when one is seated, and creates the impression that one is sitting in a smaller room.

SMALLROOM is offered with different back and side heights, which provides the architect a possibility to create environments that evoke interest, through the help of different dimensions. SMALLROOM provides space for different kinds of activities, both individual and group activities.

About Ineke Hans

Ineke Hans has a degree from Royal College of Art in London and founded her own design agency INEKEHANS/ARNHEM in the Netherlands at the end of the 1990s. Ineke Hans works with a great number of different projects like furniture, product design and jewelry.

While new technology and new materials are important to Ineke Hans, there is often a stroke of poetry in her designs. Ineke Hans has received a great number of awards, among others the Red Dot Awards and Design Plus Awards.

OFFECCT Designer :: FRONT

#Front is one of the most successful contemporary #design groups. Front consists of Sofia Lagerkvist, Charlotte von der Lancken, Anna Lindgren.

Front work on all of their projects as a collective, so that discussions and experimentation makes it possible to develop contemporary world-class design.

Front has been published widely in international design press and their work has been exhibited at MoMA in New York, the Pompidou Centre in Paris and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.

In 2010 Front received the highly prestigious Torsten and Wanja Söderberg Prize for their innovative and creative design.

The cooperation between OFFECCT and Front has evolved over time, and the launch of the Green Pedestals is a first result of this collaboration.

Green Pedestals enhances the plants with its elegant legs. Green Pedestals can be used as a room element, that for example functions as a room divider or creates a sort of an O2asis. Some variants have dimensions that fits perfectly at the side of a desk, other fits in height next to a seat or a window. It is possible to add a seat or a table top to the round models, and by placing them in a row or in a group they form a sort of a bench that is surrounded by greenery.

    Impressions from Salone del Mobile 2011, Milan

    Back home after a wonderful week in Milan and our participation at the Salone del Mobile 2011, we look forward to follow-up all new contacts and impressions.

    We met a lot of interesting people, and both our stand and our new products where very well recieved.

    The Salone del Mobile 2011 was indeed a truly global event, where we had interesting talks with customers, dealers and visitors from all around the world, including Russia, Ukraine, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, South Korea, the United States and from most countries in Europe.

    We felt that our collection is very competitive from an international point of view, and not least our O2asis collection drew a lot of visitors to our stand.

    Also, our new acoustic panel SOUNDWAVE Bella – designed by Ida Linea Danielsson from Danish architectural firm 3XN – generetad wide interest.

    We think that this year’s edition of Salone del Mobile was very succesful and would like to thank every one of you that made this a great event!
