This is an article from Nyans & Interiör about the Swedish event Möbelriskdagen, at which our CEO Kurt Tingdahl was awareded as the Furniture Industry Personality of the Year. The event took place in January of this year.
This year’s new products recieved a lot of attention, particualry after the Stockholm Furniture Fair.
Läufer + Keichel's Coupe
This article from Swedish newspaper Expressen shows Läufer + Keichel’s chair Coupe. At first glance, Coupe gives the impression of being entirely made of textile. In fact Coupe can be described as a chair that has been dressed up. A special knitting technique was used in order to obtain this effect.
Smallroom by Ineke Hans
The tremendeously popular Smallroom, designed by Ineke Hans, was, among other newspapers and magazines, featured in Swedish Du & Jobbet. Smallroom is a sofa that goes along the lines of the successful O2ASIS initiative. The design of Smallroom is characterized by a “box” on the side which can be used for placing plants or as a working surface with optional power devices. The back of the sofa can be compared to a high wall functioning as a sort of protection when one is seated, and creates the impression of a smaller room.
