Björn Dahlström is one of Sweden’s premier industrial and furniture designers, and his background as cartoonist is evident in parts of his design, most notably in the many excellent toys that Björn has designed over the years.

Björn’s design can be characterized as a symbiosis of form and function, with strong graphic elements. Dahlström has received several Swedish and international awards.
After lengthy discussions between Björn and OFFECCT we finally presented the chair Canti together. The Canti chair has got a frame in laminated wood and metal with cold foam, and is upholstered in fabric or leather, with a support in chrome. As you can see Canti is a nice example of the typical graphical traits of Björn’s design.
