4, 3, 2, 1, We Have a Lift-off - the Fly Chair by Patrick Norguet

This spring we are proud to announce the Fly chair by French designer Patrick Norguet. Our design team worked together with Patrick for no less than four years in order to define a proper product technology to create a technical textile with minimal environmental impact. Very little energy is used to make the fabric ensuring that the production of Fly meets OFFECCT’s demands for sustainable production.

The technical textile gives Fly an organic design language where the fabric itself creates much of the shape by being stretched over a metal frame. Norguet compares the shape of the Fly chair to a kabuto, which s a helmet used with traditional Japanese armour as worn by samurai.
